We decided on the background of the ‘Fleur’ range really quickly but couldn’t decide on the additional extras but we’ve kept it fairly simple and as with all wedding stationery alterations can be made quite easily to suit the customer. So this is our first range which will be available on the web in full by the end of the month. We have 5 or 6 more design boards ready to go but each one seems to take us 2 to 3 weeks to deliberate and decide on so hopefully within a couple of weeks we will have a cheaper line and a luxury line on the sit. We have modern and vintage designs in mind too so hopefully we’ll be up and running with 6 designs ranges and will be offering ‘one off’ deals too as materials present themselves. We have had a busy few months here at Tiaramania and with many new vintage style designs we’ll hopefully be busy for the next few months. Big news afoot for 2013 is that we are launching a range of handmade Wedding Invitations, Place Settings, Wine Bottle/Candle Cards and many other stationery items. This new section should be on the site for the end of July and bespoke work will be undertaken also. We will be starting with four designs and will obviously ‘grow’ this side of the business as time goes by.

I have been working hard on some new designs for this season which should be on the site within the next 10 days. I have been clearing some space and buying in some bands and tiaras suitable for proms so a new section will be added soon and some vintage and side detail tiaras too so come back soon brides or bridesmaids and even prommies there will be something here for you and if there isn’t just ask I might be able to make it at a fraction of the retail price. I have had a new order delivered and will be adding new side detail tiaras & headbands, vintage style & contemporary items over the next week and retiring a few old familiars to make way for them. I have recently started selling on Etsy so please take a look when you have a few moments to spare it’s a great site with stunning handmade items. Anything you think I might be able to help with drop me a mail i’ll always try to help. I may be a little quieter over the next few months because I am studying and taking exams too, i’m sure i’m mad at my age but at leat i’ll have a certificate to say I can add up,spell use a computer and do the job i’ve been doing for over 30 years.

Just a quick post to let you know that I am moving house on 30th November so I will be out of action until around Christmas time. Its really the handmade that will be a problem because obviously i’ll be too busy to ‘make’ anything really. I am doing my last Christmas fair next Saturday 26th November in Ely and I will be launching a new website in the new year as I make lots of other things besides bridal wear. Busy busy hooray. Then decided to make the most of the very nice weather so took a break. My last Craft Fair is 15th October at the South Holland Centre in Spalding so please come along if you are close by I have some interesting new items that would make great ‘Christmas Pressies’. I am now selling on two new sites for handmade items these are Etsy & Folksy both worth a look some very nice things for every occasion. I also have some interesting new tiaras in my mind for next season and I have been making some unusual jewellery in colours not usually associated with weddings but opinions vary so we’ll see. I have just finished a commission for bridesmaids shrugs which took a lot of knitting and kept me quiet for a couple of weeks but with the cooler weather and darker nights drawing in they will need a little bit of extra cover to stay warm. I start my Christmas Gift parties in November so that will keep me busy until December and then it’s time for a break as I am moving house so will need to be organised to get it all done as quickly as possible ready for the wedding season 2012 which usually starts with a bang in February. Would love to see you next weekend in Spalding if you’re around please come and say hello because there may well be a discount for anyone that stops by.
